Josie Fraser, ICT Strategy Lead
Josie Fraser is a UK-based Social and Educational Technologist, currently working for Leicester City Council (Local Government) as ICT Strategy Lead (Children’s Capital). She leads on technology strategy and sustainable investment for the city’s £340 million Building Schools for the Future (BSF) Programme, designed to raise learner engagement, achievement and aspiration, and deliver inspiring and effective community centred learning environments. She is responsible for setting, promoting and delivering on a city wide agenda for community based educational transformation.
David Beere, ICT Project Manager
David Beere is a UK-based Educational Technologist, currently working for Leicester City Council (Local Government) as ICT Contracts and Project Manager (Children’s Capital). He supports schools across the city in the design, implementation, and management of innovative ICT solutions. He negotiates to ensure technical solutions are effective and offer best value.
Lucy Atkins, Digital Literacy Research Associate
Lucy Atkins previously led on the DigiLit Leicester project – the creation and implementation of a self-evaluation framework for secondary school teaching and teaching support staff, which promotes reflection on and development of the use of technology to support teaching, learning and whole school development. She is currently completing her PhD at De Montfort University.
